Another Major Development Coming to Pilot Point Area

Real estate developer Hillwood is moving forward with Lantern, a $1.2 billion master-planned community on 617 acres near Pilot Point. The development will include over 2,000 homes with an average price of $450,000, a new elementary school, commercial space, and extensive parks and trails. Denton County has approved a 25-year tax incentive agreement to support infrastructure costs. The property will eventually be annexed into the city of Pilot Point.
